विवादों(Controversies)	In 2013, Shruti was attacked by a stalker in her Mumbai apartment. Though, she fought back and shut the door and also managed to jam the attacker’s hand in her door and injured him. In 2014, Shruti and Tamannah Bhatia hugged and kissed each other in front of the public at a function in Chennai. Her leaked pictures from Telugu film “Yevadu (2014)”, which were secretly taken while filming a song. Following it, she got so much upset that she filed a police complaint against the producers. In 2017, there were rumours that after announcing the release of the film “Sangamithra”, Shruti opted out of the film. Her spokesperson said ‘She opted out since she had not received a proper bound script nor a proper date calendar.’ Whereas the maker of the film said ‘Shruti didn’t opt-out. We decided that we could not work together effectively.’
